About 'Genesis': This class is graded on a 'total points'
basis. Everything a
student gets credit for earns points, and at the end of a marking period a student's grade is based
on the points earned. Note that Genesis does not do a good job of representing grades for a class
graded on a 'total points' basis. Genesis accurately lists the assignments a student has
completed, but it does not display a column for the total points a student has earned. Any
percentages that Genesis lists are totally unreliable. Given these issues, if you have a question
about how your child
