I received an e-mail from a friend about your website for Mr. Burrows and us to remember the pinnacle of his career. I really appreciate how generous Mr. Burrows's personal mission was to help get as much exposure to civilization as he could get in front of us.

It was a lot of fun to take a minute to remember and see the professional side of Mr. Burrows. What a contributor, all those lives he touched, no grabbed, and offered his leadership, personality and friendship.

I remember him much more as a person than an East High School teacher. His finest moments that trickle back into my life's experiences after 25 years now were his personal ones with us. I appreciate the form to the world he offered. We pushed ourselves, he lined us up and whisked us through the world both in our 3rd floor learning center and across Europe in the summer of '77. And we grew up.

He offered his selfless friendship, courage to have opinions and explore, and he loved every minute of it.
